Story
The story starts off in Cob County, where two lovers named Maizy and Beau are planning their nuptials. However, the celebration takes an unexpected break when the towns corn suddenly starts to die. The almost newlyweds agree to postpone things and join the town in worrying about its crops.
Maizy decides to pursue an explanation in Florida. After she gets off the plane in Tampa, she meets Gordy, who is pretending to be a corn doctor. Gordy vows to help her save her towns crops, even though he's really after her expensive bracelet to pay off his mob debts - and drama follows.
