Join the Harry Potter fan club for an evening of spellbinding film and orchestra as Greensboro’s own Greensboro Symphony Orchestra performs the magical film, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix at the Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts, located in downtown Greensboro, NC on Saturday evening, June 13, 2026. The evening will begin at 7:00 PM and is expected to conclude around 10:00. 

Greensboro Symphony Orchestra

A true orchestral experience of Nicholas Hooper’s music in the 5th installment of the Harry Potter film series, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. The beautiful “Dumbledore’s Army” motif and the triumatic “Flight of the Order of the Phoenix” and more will come to life, as performed by more than 40 highly accomplished players of the Greensboro Symphony Orchestra under the baton of the highly accomplished conductor Bruce Kiesling who brings all of the dark intensity of the story to each and every scene of the film through his expertly accurate performance of Hooper’s score. 

A well established regional orchestra that has worked with CineConcerts to bring major cinematic LIVE music experiences to audiences throughout North America. The orchestra will accurately perform each song in perfect synchronization with the on-screen action. For this concert, dozens of professional musicians will bring to life the intricate arrangements of Mr. Hooper that highlight key scenes such as Harry’s first kiss, the loss of beloved characters at the end of the climactic battle and the hidden secret meetings of the underground student group forming Dumbledore’s Army.

The Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts is a state of the art venue located at 300 N Elm Street in the heart of downtown Greensboro, North Carolina. With over 3,000 seats the venue has a grand orchestra level, a Grand Tier and several other theater style levels of seating. The Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts also has a surround sound system to allow for a truly symphonic performance and experience.

Parking Information

The Steven Tanger Center has on site parking in a VIP surface lot (Lot A) in front of the Center. In addition, there are three downtown parking decks within walking distance to the Bellmeade, Church Street and Davie Street decks.
