Story
The production begins in Cob County, where two lovers named Maizy and Beau are planning their nuptials. However, the celebration comes to a grinding halt when the towns corn suddenly starts to die. The almost newlyweds agree to pause things and join the town in fretting about its crops.
Maizy decides to pursue an explanation in Florida. After she arrives in Tampa, she meets Gordy, who is pretending to be a corn doctor. Gordy promises to help her save her towns farm, even though he's only interested in her expensive bracelet to satisfy his mob debts - and drama follows.
